A lot of science in a small space: BELSORP MAX X. Advanced surface adsorption. Smallest footprint. Unrivaled performance. By determining the gas inlet pressure based on the installation environment (gas cylinder secondary pressure) before measurement, the control valve is automatically optimized for speed and performance, effectively reducing measurement time.
The BELSORP MAX X is Microtrac’s newest addition to the BELSORP MAX series, featuring a more compact design and lighter weight. This high-precision gas/vapor sorption analyzer is capable of measuring four samples over a wide range of pressures and temperatures. The BELSORP MAX X offers a wide range of analytical capabilities, including surface area measurement, pore size distribution, gas and vapor sorption, and chemisorption.
The instrument utilizes high-precision pressure transducers (133.3 kPa, 1.333 kPa, and 0.0133 kPa), hard-sealed pneumatic valves, and metal gaskets to minimize gas leakage and enable ultimate vacuum levels to be achieved. Advanced temperature control prevents surface wetting and corrosion through a heated manifold block (50°C, 80°C optional), air bath, and electropolished gas/vapor paths.
In addition, the BELCONTROL operating software helps to better understand the structure and durability of materials with cyclic stability analysis, increases measurement and maintenance efficiency, and sends measurement results via email; all of which maximize sample processing speed. Also, the dedicated BELMASTER analytical software is designed for advanced material evaluations.
The instrument is compatible with ISO 9277, 15901-2 and 18852 standards and can be used to analyze a variety of materials with different morphologies such as molded bodies, pellets and fine powders.
